Tasha Lynn- "Designing to your own beat"

The article I choose was from "How Design" Magazine. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the tittle of the article and then the posters. One poster was a design for "She&Him". It was a record being literally painted. One of those "why hasn't someone thought of that before?". The article was interesting because it talked abut how music helps inspire creativity, and design ideas. The artist featured in the article (Jason Munn) has listening to music as his "Job requierment". This pertains to my industry because it gives ideas of how to better your designs. And this artist's work is so simple but at the same time it isn't. That is exactly how i work in my photography, I may take a picture of a simple tree or a fence but its all about perspective. The part that makes this article note worthy is at the end of the article the artist strongly states "This didn'y just happen overnight- I've deffinitley been at it for a while". So it reminds the dreaming reader that you have to work a little too, you can't just expect to get to where you want to by doing nothing. This is different from whats in the industry now because it talks about pure inspiration, you don't hear that much.
